Komodo Creative is a multi-faceted photo and video company which tackles any project as long as it involves media.
Established in early 2023, we have worked tirelessly to get things up and running, including acquiring business grants and even a studio space in the centre of Aberdeen City.
The aim is to provide high-quality photo, video, writing, and editing services to not only Aberdeen, but all around Scotland.
Our tagline ''capture. create.'' perfectly encapsulates what we do, capturing occasions, shows, portraits, and wildlife, while also creating music videos, creative shoots, advertisements, and films.
KIRSTY
I have varied experience in the industry, having previously worked as a wedding videographer, a video editor, and general photographer.
Some of my notable work has been writing and directing a film for YoungScot, writing and directing a short documentary for the BBC, and getting my degree in Film and TV.
After spending time in Glasgow in a contracted job, I came back to Aberdeen and found there were not as many opportunities for creatives. So we are working together to make our own opportunities.

My experience in the creative industry include - a film producer/director, video editor, 3D generalist and wedding videographer & photographer.
Some of my notable accolades have been writing and directing a film supported by Creative Scotland and receiving a few awards such as "Videographer of The Year", Best Music Video and "Best Feature Film".
Komodo Creative is a perfect opportunity for me to use my skills in video & photo to capture events in the highest quality, aswell as a chance push the envelope for creative film & media.
